KeyBanc analyst Eric Heath lowered the price target on Dynatrace Inc. (NYSE: DT) to $50.00 (from $60.00) while maintaining an Overweight rating.
The analyst commented: "Idiosyncratic Drivers & Clean Messaging the Catalysts. We see several idiosyncratic drivers to ARR acceleration in F3Q. To name a few (full list on page 3): DPS is driving acceleration in consumption, which shows up in revenue/ARR over time; GTM productivity is improving; and logs is scaling. Further, conversations with several customers at Perform last week were positive on consolidation onto Dynatrace, using Dynatrace to monitor AI workloads, and the adoption of logs was pervasive. Investor sentiment remains muted as Dynatrace isn't viewed as the leader in a market that faces increasing competition, is not relevant with AI-natives, and due to challenges with messaging. We believe investor confidence in the model will improve with clear messaging on the key top-line metric, the amount of conservatism assumed on pipeline close rates, moving away from ODC disclosure, and clarity on one-time subscription revenue items and NNARR seasonality."
