Jefferies analyst Andy Barish lowered estimates and his price target on Dunkin' Brands (NASDAQ: DNKN) to $50.00 (from $54.00) but maintained a Buy rating saying the sell-off post Q2 creates a buying opportunity.
Barish comments, "$0.47 EPS in line despite DD US 1.8% SSS miss (cons 3.3%) given macro & competitive pressures. Menu innovation & smart discounting should help 2H but FY SSS guide lowered to 2-3% and with weak sales overseas, FY EPS to $1.73-1.77. However, development remains well on track, which should prevent significant multiple compression. Our ‘14/15 EPS to $1.75/2.00 (was $1.80/2.07). PT to $50 (was $54), and we see an opportunity for entry on the current dip."
