Deutsche Bank analyst Jonathan Arnold initiates coverage on Brookfield Renewable Energy (NYSE: BEP) with a Sell rating and a price target of $28.00.
The analyst comments "...at today's levels BEP looks fundamentally expensive to us given 1) a riskier than average asset mix; 2) distribution levels well in excess of sustainable cash flows; 3) sub-optimal governance; and 4) a growth strategy based mostly on opportunistic M&A which may move the portfolio still further up the risk spectrum over time."
