Deutsche Bank analyst Ross Seymore downgraded Navitas Semiconductor (NASDAQ: NVTS) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $7.00 (from $3.50).
The analyst comments: "We are downgrading NVTS from a Buy to a Hold rating. NVTS shares have risen by nearly +250% over the past month following the company announcing that it was collaborating with NVDA on that company’s next-generation 800V HVDC architecture for AI factories. While this collaboration is not exclusive, we believe it provides a strong endorsement for the unique combination of GaN and SiC technologies NVTS can offer. In the near-term, Data Center-related revenue for NVTS is rapidly growing but relatively small (DBe ~$10m/$30m/$45m in 2025/2026/2027). However, over the long-term (~2027+) we believe this market likely offers a very large/attractive TAM (potentially several hundred million dollars), with the NVDA collaboration increasing the likelihood of NVTS gaining meaningful share."
