Deutsche Bank analyst Steve Powers downgraded Monster Beverage (NASDAQ: MNST) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $98.00 (from $94.00).
The analyst comments: “We are downgrading MNST to Hold today as the stock's recent outperformance has left valuation increasingly dependent on outcomes that exceed our already constructive expectations. We remain highly positive on the business (as reflected in our above-consensus forecasts for FY26/27) and are raising our price target to $98, but at current levels, continued strong execution may drive only modest upside, in our view, whereas even small disappointment in category growth, scanner trends, international momentum, pricing realization, or margin progression could trigger a more meaningful valuation reset.”
