Cramer touted shares of Hershey (NYSE: HSY) on last night's Mad Money, calling the stock "cheap with room to run".

The pundit said Hershey is for investors who want "consistent results, and even an upside surprise..." Cramer said he likes Hershey for several reasons:
  • its main business -- chocolates and candies -- is "recession-resistant" and doesn't feel "pressure from private labels".
  • the company has successfully boosted prices recently.
  • Hershey is taking market share amid this tumultuous market.
  • given drastically lower advertising costs, the company is increasing ad spending by 20% in '09.
Shares of Hershey are up 2% to about $31.38 today. Notably, amid yesterday's ~6% market rally, Hershey actually traded lower, setting a new 52-week low at $30.27.
