Stifel analyst Jim Duffy lowered the price target on Columbia Sportswear (NASDAQ: COLM) to $91.00 (from $100.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented, “Our 12-month TP of $91 reflects 10.1x EV/EBITDA on our FY26 estimate of $451.5mn. Risks: In addition to other factors, key risks to our target price include the following: (1) The markets for Columbia brand portfolio products are highly competitive with large scaled competitors with strong brands and private label. (2) Columbia distributes to international markets. In addition to macroeconomic risk, any failure to successfully translate to foreign markets could be impactful to the company’s earnings growth. (3) The company must anticipate consumer preferences and continue to demonstrate the ability to provide relevant products in an evolving market.”
