Jefferies analyst Jamieson Ward raised the price target on CenterPoint Energy (NYSE: CNP) to $50.00 (from $49.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "Robust 3Q26 update brings ~$4.5Bn of CapEx into the 5-year plan and drive ~17% accretion to FY30e EPS. Financing angle is materializing: our upside CapEx estimate requires ~8% equity needs with Mobile Gen cash flow and the FFO-to-Debt headroom created. We raise FY26-30e EPS CAGR to ~12.6% and shares calibrating to a ~3% discount on FY30 JEFe; dissipating valuation pushback. Long runway of earnings and cash flow catalyst will drive further upside. Buy."
