Jefferies analyst John Colantuoni raised the price target on Carvana (NYSE: CVNA) to $315.00 (from $280.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst comments "We recently introduced a web scrape analysis for CVNA, which appears to closely align w/ historical Retail Unit growth. Our scrape indicates 2Q Retail Units have experienced 47% y/y growth through 5/10. Extrapolating this result based on historical seasonality suggests Retail Units are on pace for 43% y/y growth in 2Q, moderating from 55% in our mid-May update but remaining above the 38% embedded in consensus. We remain Hold and keep our estimates unchanged."
