Baird analyst Timothy Wojs raised the price target on Carlisle (NYSE: CSL) to $500.00 (from $465.00) while maintaining a Outperform rating.
The analyst commented: "Takeaways from Q2-24 roofing checks. 1) non-res surveyed sell-through volumes were softer, underperforming expectations for the quarter, though we recognize our checks/sample has skewed more negative than the actual market in recent quarters, 2) Q2 pricing improved sequentially, though the full-year outlook moderated, and 3) non-res sub-market performance
has varied (education/data centers outperforming healthcare, warehousing, and general commercial). Overall, we continue to be longer-term buyers of CSL, with a differentiated near-term setup (easier comps), levers for multiple expansion (pure play, improved industry structure), and capital allocation opportunities (buybacks, M&A)."
