Barclays Q411 Earnings and Outlook on Gaming: Should Be Bullish

Analyst, Felicia R. Hendrix, said, "We believe the majority of the gaming operators in our coverage universe will report strong 4Q11 results driven by robust market growth in Vegas, a better-than-expected revenue environment in domestic regional markets (particularly in December), and continued solid performance in Macau, especially in mass gaming."

Hendrix raises Q4 estimates on Boyd Gaming (NYSE: BYD) (from -0.01 to $0.00), Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) (from $0.49 to $0.56), Penn National (Nasdaq: PENN)(from $0.46 to $0.49) and Wynn (Nasdaq: WYNN)(from $1.21 to $1.26), but lowers estimates on MGM (NYSE: MGM) (from -0.19 to -0.20) and Pinnacle Ent. (NYSE: PNK)(from $0.11 to $0.10).
