Baird commented on Dendreon (NASDAQ: DNDN) following this weekend's ASCO meeting, saying "Provenge's commercial task has become increasingly difficult with full publication of Zytiga's pre-chemo data at ASCO and the anticipated approval/launch of MDV3100."
The analyst said Dendreon's sequencing message is not resonating, and Zytiga
pre-chemo use is already quite measurable.
"With these two agents dominating mindshare for some time to come, we worry Provenge may increasingly struggle to stay relevant," the firm said.
The firm maintained their Neutral with a new price target of $11.00 (from $13.00).
