Baird analyst Mircea Dobre downgraded Alamo Group (NYSE: ALG) from Outperform to Neutral with a price target of $177.00 (from $224.00).
The analyst comments: "We are seeing a clearer sign of peaking Industrial orders which likely extends through 2025 as customer budget tailwinds will start to dissipate. Vegetation is stabilizing at lower levels (a positive). In 2025 Industrial will be able to burn backlog and maintain top line/earnings but this segment becomes a headwind in 2026 likely offsetting any Vegetation recovery. Overall, absent M&A, we could be looking at two years with flat or down earnings and that is before accounting for future impacts from tariffs or material cost increases."
