BMO Capital analyst Kelly Bania downgraded Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) from Market Perform to Underperform with a price target of $95.00 (from $110.00).
The analyst comments: "We lower DLTR to Underperform from Market Perform. We believe current valuation and earnings expectations may be too elevated given that DLTR: 1) lacks investments and focus on offering a compelling digital strategy, which may limit top line growth over time; and 2) may have potentially underappreciated dis-synergies which adds risk to margin expansion goals. We lower our target price to $95 which represents ~15x, vs. 17x prior, on our already below-consensus F27E (calendar 2026) EPS."
