BMO Capital analyst Kelly Bania reiterated an Outperform rating and $125.00 price target on Walmart (NASDAQ: WMT).
The analyst commented: "WMT Deepens Agentic AI Capabilities With Google Partnership. Walmart's Daniel Danker, EVP, AI Acceleration, Product & Design, presented a keynote. Danker believes WMT will start to deeply address consumer problems in the next year with AI and maintains agentic AI represents a growth opportunity. WMT announced a new partnership with Gemini this past weekend consistent with WMT's plan to be agnostic to AI partners. Google's AI agent will partner with WMT's AI agent to create a more unified shopping experience, allowing users to fully build baskets in a Walmart environment based on items discovered through Gemini. Daniel believes that AI shopping is shifting towards product discovery/ exploration, which we believe should further benefit WMT given its unique combination of wide assortment, speed, and value. No official financial update was shared."
