Auriga reiterates a 'Buy' on GrafTech International (NYSE: GTI) price target of $17.00.
Analyst, Dan Whalen, said, "The newly initiated 2Q12 EBITDA guidance range of $60 m to $70 m was slightly higher than our estimate, but relatively consistent with consensus of $61 million. The company remains well positioned to benefit from recovering carbon steel utilization rates and EPS growth could potentially be supplemented by either share repurchases or opportunistic acquisitions. Alternatively, we also believe the shares would be rewarded if a dividend was implemented as an alternative use of cash."
