Argus Starts Sherwin-Williams (SHW) at Hold

Argus initiates coverage on Sherwin-Williams (NYSE: SHW) with a Hold rating, saying the stock is fairly valued.

"We see limited near-term upside for SHW stock, which is trading at 23.3-times our 2016 EPS estimate, below the five-year historical average of 24.9, but above the peer average of 17.1," the analyst said.

The firm's fair value estimate for SHW is $293 per share.
