Jefferies analyst David Windley raised estimates and his price target on Buy-rated Anthem (NYSE: ANTM) to $188.00 (from $186.00) following Q1 results.
Windley commented, "With membership and margins tracking better than expected, we believe 2016 EPS growth will accelerate as headwinds ease. Another strong result in 1Q (18% upside) and raised guidance keeps ANTM on track to achieve 10%+ LT EPS growth. Yet, the stock trades at the low end of MCO valuations at 14.5x '15 P/E. Reiterate Buy and bumping PT to $188."
The firm raised FY 2015 EPS from $11.52 to $11.60.
