H.C. Wainwright analyst Yi Chen lowered the price target on AngioDynamics (NASDAQ: ANGO) to $18.00 (from $19.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented: "Last week, AngioDynamics reported its financial results for fiscal 1Q27 ending on August 31, 2026. Net sales were $80.9M, representing 6.9% YoY growth and in line with our projection of $81.0M. Specifically, Med Tech sales were $39.9M (up 13.2% YoY) and Med Device sales were $41.0M (up 1.4% YoY). Net loss was $7.1M, or ($0.17) per share, less than our estimated loss of $12.9M. Adjusted net loss was $1.8M, or ($0.04) per share. The smaller GAAP loss was partially due to a higher gross margin. Excluding tariff refunds, gross margin was 57.8%, benefiting from favorable pricing and the mix shift toward Med Tech. Management maintained FY2027 guidance, including net sales of $336–341M, adjusted EBITDA of $13–16M, and adjusted EPS of ($0.29)-($0.24). The guidance suggests that FY2027 topline growth could be around 5.7%, lower than 9.5% in FY2026, with a lower gross margin during fiscal 2Q-4Q27. This may help explain the share price drop post earnings, in our view. We have adjusted our EV/Revenue and EV/EBITDA multiples slightly lower to 3.5x and 15.5x, respectively, which led to a price objective of $18. Therefore, we reiterate our Buy rating while lowering the 12-month price target to $18 from $19 per share and waiting for further updates from the incoming new CEO effective November 2, 2026.'
