American Airlines (AAL) PT Raised to $9 at TD Cowen

TD Cowen analyst Thomas Fitzgerald raised the price target on American Airlines (NASDAQ: AAL) to $9.00 (from $7.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.

The analyst commented, "We expect AAL to report 3Q24 results in the second half of the week of 10/20 with results out BMO and a call that same day. The bar for 3Q and 4Q results is quite low, and we expect results/guidance to both come in above. Remain concerned about LT headwinds around network and product and the degree to which mgmt can close the gap with peers. Do not see path to positive FCF in 2025 or 2026."
