SunTrust Robinson Humphrey analyst, Bob Peck reiterated his Neutral rating on Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) but raised his price target to $775.00 (from $710.00).
AMZN should benefit from the Prime flywheel, higher 3P adoption, and secular growth at AWS. However, the analyst remains Neutral since a lot of positive assumptions appear to be getting baked into Street expectations. Competition is increasing, which could impact revenue growth (>20% CAGR through 2019) and margin expansion (440 bps), capital intensity is high, and comps will get tougher for the remainder of 2016.
The analyst thinks it may be tough for the shares to outperform peers.
