Trophy Games Delays Airport Tycoon Indefinitely

Facing delays and an unsatisfying outlook for Airport Tycoon, Trophy Games has decided to shut down the small Lithuanian daughter company Piu Piu and to delay Airport Tycoon indefinitely.

CEO Søren Gleie says: "As Trophy Games grows, we want to keep a razor-sharp focus on what's working. Unfortunately, that means shutting down unprofitable projects."

The shutdown is still ongoing but will properly result in an impairment of DKK 3m. The impairment will not alter Trophy Games' guidance for the year.

The shutdown will reduce the headcount in the Trophy Games Group from 55 to 50 full-time employees and reduce costs by around DKK 1.8m yearly.
