Savers Value Village appoints Brian Ames to board following director resignation

Savers Value Village Inc. (NYSE: SVV) announced that Duane C. Woods resigned from the company's board of directors on August 25, 2025, effective immediately. Woods also stepped down from the Nominating, Governance & Sustainability Committee and the Compensation Committee.

The company stated that Woods' departure was not due to any disagreement with the company or board regarding operations, policies or practices.

The board appointed Brian Ames to fill the vacancy created by Woods' resignation. Ames will serve as a Class III director with a term expiring at the company's 2026 annual stockholder meeting. The board also appointed Ames to the Nominating, Governance & Sustainability Committee upon recommendation from the committee.

The appointments were made following recommendations from the Nominating, Governance and Sustainability Committee. Ames will serve until his successor is elected and qualified or until his death, resignation or removal, whichever occurs first.
