On March 26, 2024, Geoffrey O’Brien informed Medicinova (NASDAQ: MNOV) of his decision to retire from full-time employment and resign from his employment with the Company, effective as of April 2, 2024. Mr. O’Brien’s resignation is voluntary and is not the result of any disagreement with the Company. Mr. O’Brien and the Company plan to enter into a consulting relationship whereby Mr. O’Brien would continue to serve as Vice President of the Company on a consulting basis. The Company expects to enter into a consulting agreement with Mr. O’Brien to formalize that relationship.
