Alcoa (AA) Announces Departure of Steven W. Williams from Board

On February 20, 2025, Mr. Steven W. Williams provided notice to Alcoa (NYSE: AA) that he will not stand for re-election as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors at the Company’s 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Mr. Williams has served as a director of the Company since its launch as a public company in 2016 and as Chairman of the Board since 2021. He will continue to serve as a director and the Chairman of the Board until the end of his term at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting. Mr. Williams’ decision to not stand for re-election is not due to any disagreement with the Board or the Company. Immediately upon the Effective Time, the size of the Board will be reduced to eleven directors.
