Cohen's Point72 Shows New 5.3% Stake in Chimerix (CMRX) - 13G

In a 13G filing on Chimerix (NASDAQ: CMRX), Steven Cohen's Point72 Asset Management, L.P. showed a new 2,454,943 share, or 5.3% stake.

Chimerix was crushed Monday after the company anounced that its Phase 3 SUPPRESS trial of brincidofovir in patients undergoing hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) did not achieve its primary endpoint for the prevention of clinically significant cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection through Week 24 after transplant.
