Peltz's Trian Fund Confirms New 7.2M Share Comcast (CMCSA) Stake

An amended 13F from Nelson Peltz's Trian Fund after the close Monday showed the firm held 7.159 million shares of Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) at the end of June. The firm had no prior stake in the cable giant.

Based on Monday's closing price, the stake is worth approximately $320 million.

Shares of Comcast are down 0.6% YTD.

The Wall Street Journal reported the new Comcast stake just before the market closed on Monday and before the amended SEC filing.
