In an amended 13D filing on Unum Group (NYSE: UNM), hedge fund Relational Investors disclosed a 4.85%, or 14,729,419 share, stake in the company. This is down 2.27% from the 15,072,257 shares held at the end of the latest quarter ending June 30, 2011.
