Just ahead of Friday's close, Carl Icahn disclosed in a 13D filing a 7.56 percent stake (50,085,202 shares) in Chesapeake Energy (NYSE: CHK). Icahn had not previously showed a stake in the company, however, word of the fund manager investing in the company has been around since early-to-mid May.
