In a 13D filing on Republic Services, Inc. (NYSE: RSG), Bill Gates' Cascade Investment disclosed a 16.89%, or 62,554,169 share, stake in the company. This is up 5.71% from the 59,172,919 shares held at the end of the latest quarter ending March 31, 2011.
