Monsanto Company (MON) Tops Q1 EPS by 25c

Monsanto Company (NYSE: MON) reported Q1 EPS of $0.62, $0.25 better than the analyst estimate of $0.37. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.93 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.64 billion.

Monsanto Company sees FY2013 EPS of $4.30-4.40, versus the consensus of $4.43.
