Wal-mart (WMT) Vudu Office Hit by Burglary; Hard Drives w/ Customer Info Taken

Wal-mart (NYSE: WMT) is on watch following reports that its Vudu video-streaming service office was broken into, potentially exposing sensitive customer data.
Dow Jones Newswires notes that the office was cracked on March 24th and hard drives with customer information were stolen. Vudu tech chief Presanna Ganesan sent an email affirming the break in.
Information on the hard drives would be customer names, e-mail addresses, birthdays, encrypted passwords, and mailing addresses.
Shares of Wal-mart are down 0.6 percent today.
