The latest data from Symphony Health has prescriptions for VIVUS, Inc. (Nasdaq: VVUS) Qsymia falling 7 percent for the week ended June 7th to 4,302.0.
News comes ahead of the launch of Arena (Nasdaq: ARNA) and Eisai's Belviq, which is expected out June 14th.
Bloomberg Industries noted that prescriptions of phentermine for short-term weight-loss increased 17 percent from the prior week to 159,087.0.
VIVUS is indicated lower ahead of the bell Tuesday.
