Noble (NBL) CEO Sees Company Size Doubling in Next Five Years

Noble Energy (NYSE: NBL) shares are ticking higher amid positive sentiment out of at least one company executive on Thursday.

Reuters reports that CEO Charles Davidson expects big growth from Noble in the next few years. During a visit to Israel, the executive commented, "We expect to double in size over the next five years. Double in size in terms of production, double in size in cash flow, double in size in terms of reserves."

Davidson also noted that recent issues for Cyprus haven't hurt nat gas draws and, if anything, might have actually accelerated usage.

Shares of Noble are up 1.2 percent early.
