According to headlines out Tuesday, hackers are targeting the upper-echelon of the market with Michelle Obama and Joe Biden, along with celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé, having their private information hacked and posted to the web. Items like personal accounts, address, and other sensitive information were leaked.

On watch today might be typical financial names like Capital One (NYSE: COF), Discover Financial (NYSE: DFS), and American Express (NYSE: AXP), not to mention affiliated companies like Fair Isaac (NYSE: FICO) and Equifax (NYSE: EFX), and ACI Worldwide (Nasdaq: ACIW). Largely, shares of most financial companies are lower Tuesday, following several days of gains.

On the other side of the trade, online security companies like Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC), Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP), Fortinet Inc. (Nasdaq: FTNT), Sourcefire, Inc. (Nasdaq: FIRE) and Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: PANW) could benefit.
