Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) shares are higher on the session following reports that it will be holding a News Feed event on March 7, 2013.
An invite was sent to certain news sources stating: "Come see a new look for News Feed."
On Thursday, TheNextWeb noted that Facebook made changes in New Zealand which resulted in a single-column Timeline design for users. The switch was a trial run, not a permanent change.
Facebook is up 2 percent Friday.
