Eyes are on Zynga (Nasdaq: ZNGA) and Caesars Entertainment (Nasdaq: CZR) Thursday afternon as Las Vegas may be moving forward with its own online gambling bill.

According to the Las Vegas Sun, the Nevada Legislature could fast track a bill to Governor Brian Sandoval's desk today which would allow online poker playing in absence of federal action on the topic.

The bill got a unanimous vote from the Assembly Judiciary Committee. It moves on to the full Assembly, than the Senate for a vote.

Voting came following Sandoval and Assembly Majority Leader William Horne, D-Las Vegas, coming to terms on what to charge for an online poker license. The two agreed on a $500,000 fee, with provisions that would allow an increase in certain circumstances.

No other state has legalized online gambling yet, though others , like New Jersey, have proposals similar to that of Nevada.

With Zynga and Caesars both vying for New Jersey to pass legislation, attention might now turn to Vegas as the next, hot online poker spot. Shares of both are up on the session.
