Buffett Will Be Making Another $40M This Year as Coke (KO) Boosts Dividend

Warren Buffett and his Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK-A) (NYSE: BRK-B) holding company hit pay dirt Thursday after the group's largest stock holding, Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE: KO), raised its dividend 10 percent.
Coke will now be paying an annual dividend of $1.12 per share, up from $1.02 per share in 2012. Dividends will be paid quarter at $0.28 per share, up from $0.255 per share last year.
Based on his holdings of 400 million shares, Buffett will be getting $448 million in dividend payments this year, up from $408 million last year.
Coke has raised its dividend for 51 consecutive years.
