Judge Says Apple's (AAPL) Preferred Charter Proposal 'Cut A Little Broadly'

Apple, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) and Greenlight Capital are in court over proposition 2 in Apple's annual proxy, which would eliminate preferred stock from Apple’s charter.

The judge in the case said Apple's move to bundle the stock restriction along with two other matters set for vote "cut a little broadly." Earlier, the judge questioned the potential harm imposed by Apple's vote.
