Solar stocks are seeing some pressure Tuesday following third-quarter numbers from diversified chemicals giant DuPont (NYSE: DD) earlier.
DuPont attributed weaker results to volume decline in photovoltaic materials. In total, DuPont's Electronics & Communications segment reported a 28 percent dip in revs in the most recent quarter.
Though its just one segment of one company, DuPoint is always a notable company to cite. Lower on the session today are First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR), SunPower (Nasdaq: SPWR), Suntech Power (NYSE: STP), LDK Solar (NYSE: LDK), and others.
