Apple (Nasdaq : AAPL), along with publishers Macmillan and Penguin, have subpoenaed the U.S. DoJ to turn over interviews conducted with Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) employees as part of the e-Book pricing lawsuit.
According to PaidContent, the subpoena came to light following Amazons efforts to stop Apple's efforts to obtain the information. The interviews might disclose Amazon's pricing practices, though that is just speculation.
Apple and Amazon are both trading lower on the session Thursday.
