Heartland Payment Systems (HPY) Tops Q1 EPS by 15c; Issues Strong FY Guidance

Heartland Payment Systems (NYSE: HPY) reported Q1 EPS of $0.39, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter came in at $128.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $125.88 million.

Heartland Payment Systems sees FY2012 EPS of $1.59-$1.63, versus the consensus of $1.37. Heartland Payment Systems sees FY2012 revenue of $530-$540 million, versus the consensus of $537.7 million.

The Company also announced that the Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.06 per common share payable June 15, 2012 to shareholders of record on May 24, 2012.
