Solars Continue Higher; Italy Unveils New Renewable Energy Initatives (FSLR) (TAN) (JASO)
In addition to the DoD incentive spending mentioned earlier, solar stocks might now be seeing some upside from across the pond.
According to headlines from Dow Jones, Italy has renewable energy initiatives which are more in-line with EU ones. In addition, Italy sees photovoltaic incentive spending increasing in the latter half of 2011, from July through October.
Non-photovoltaic spending will commence in 2013.
Italy notes that the new incentives will lower energy bills.
Up on the session include: Global Solar ETF (NYSE: TAN), First Solar (Nasdaq: FSLR), Suntech (NYSE: STP) , SunPower (Nasdaq: SPWR), Trina Solar (NYSE: TSL), JinkoSolar (NYSE: JKS), and JA Solar (Nasdaq: JASO).
