Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: TEVA) has commenced commercial launch of Quetiapine Fumarate Tablets, the Company’s generic version of AstraZeneca’s (NYSE: AZN) schizophrenia treatment, Seroquel Tablets. The brand product had annual sales of approximately $4.6 billion in the United States, based on IMS sales data.
Notably, Mylan (Nasdaq: MYL) is also launching generic Seroquel.
