Several sources reporting New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman filed a lawsuit against the US's largest banks related to fraudulent usage of the Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems.
So far known to be included in the lawsuit: BofA (NYSE: BAC), JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM) and Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC).
The Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (AMEX: XLF) is up 2.3 percent at last check and does not appear to be responding to the report.
