In a 13D filing on Wynn Resorts (Nasdaq: WYNN) from Aruze USA Inc, a unit Universal Entertainment, the firm disclosed on Jan. 11th, Kazuo Okada filed a Petition for Writ of Mandamus in the District Court of Clark County, Nevada against Wynn to compel the company to produce certain of its books and records.
The filing from Aruze/Universal says they are evaluating recent events and will take whatever action that they deem necessary and appropriate to protect the value of their investment in Wynn.
Universal Entertainment is currently the largest shareholder of Wynn with around 44.4 million shares, or about 35.5 percent of outstanding shares.
