Exxon (XOM) Sees Impact in Oil Production Following Shutdown of Beaumont Refinery Plant

Exxon Mobil (NYSE: XOM) reported early Thursday the company is now expecting an impact on production from the shutdown of its Beaumont Refinery plant on Wednesday, November 30th.
Exxon said the shutdown was due to a leaking pipe which occurred around 10:20 am EST on Wednesday. Management sees the leak being fixed by 8:20 am EST on Thursday, December 1st.
The 344,000 barrel-a-day refinery produces 2.8 billion gallons of gasoline per year.
Shares of Exxon last traded at $79.58, down 1 percent from Wednesday's close.
