Baird maintains a 'Neutral' on Amylin Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: AMLN).

Baird analyst says, "AMLN continues to conservatively manage expenses and has successfully stabilized revenues through price increases. Earnings matter little now, but the expected Q1-12 approval of Bydureon will bring focus back to the commercialization story. Consensus Bydureon expectations have come down notably, creating a situation contrarian investors might want to monitor, but significant franchise growth is still needed to drive AMLN through to profitability, and we still need more conviction there...Our 2011E and 2012E EPS change only slightly to ($0.76) and ($0.60), respectively, on revenue fine-tuning."
