TE Connectivity Ltd. (NYSE: TEL) will replace Cephalon Inc. (Nasdaq: CEPH) in the S&P 500 index after the close of trading on Friday, October 14th. Cephalon is being acquired by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: TEVA) in a deal expected to be completed on or about that date pending final approvals.
