Monster Worldwide (NYSE: MWW) reports it's Employment Index for June has reached its highest level since October 2008.
Coming in at 146, this marks an annual growth rate of 4 percent, and the 17th consecutive month of positive year-over-year growth in the U.S. employment sector.
The biggest jumps in occupational growth were in maintenance, engineering, personal care, IT, and production. Low-growth jobs included those in financial operations, management, food prep and service, and protective services.
Nonfarm payroll numbers, expected out at 8:30am EDT this morning, should show an addition of about 105,000 for June.
